See they phrase it as keeping your daughters, sisters, mothers safe from predatory men who would abuse the system, but what it actually means is instead of maybe finding one man in disguise as a transwoman using the law to be creepy or violent to women, you now have your daughters, sisters, mothers forced to share the rest room with men. Not men disguised as women, actual men, with male minds and male hormones and presumably male appetites.

I don't feel like this law makes me safer. Its insulting to trans people, its humiliating to trans people and cis women, and it's not making anyone any safer from predatory males.

The real intent of bathroom bills isn't to put a police officer in every bathroom.

It's to force businesses and schools to say, "we can't server/hire you, because it's illegal to let you use the restroom."
