Re: Anyone seen the new batman film yet? Spoilers

I'll give you the whole list

Flick = the lowest form of entertainment, pure spectacle with no substance
Movie = mostly focuses on plot development and plot twists, bigger focus on writing compared to flicks

Film = focuses on direction and strives to make each shot beautiful like a painting, the plot and characters are sidelined

Cinéma = a character piece where character emotions and personalities take the central stage

Cinerama = Similar to film in that it focuses on directing beautiful shots, but elevated to a higher level

Kino = the highest form of art to ever grace the world of motion pictures; a visual work of art which relies mostly on basic visual components like light, shape and movement to induce an experience, plot is either completely nonexistent or not very important; heavy use of camera tricks and distortions; dynamic, rhythmic editing

So...

Flick = Transformers

Movie = Mission Impossible

Film = 300

Cinéma = The Godfather

Cinerama = Lord of the rings

Kino = Weekend at Bernie's 2

Right?
