I love this explanation of her death's significance, and you should be proud of coming up with it. I think that's true not just in the zombie apocalypse but in real life too. Not everyone leaves this world realizing their full potential, and as sobering as that is, it's also very true.

This also reminds me why I took to Noah so much, even though his well-meant attempts at helping and such had more mortal consequences than Denise's.

Aww, Noah. :( His death broke my heart, too, and he was also just starting to be able to function in the world of TWD when he died, senselessly.

I've pretty much come to accept that literally everyone on this show is expendable. It's the nature of the show. And - I really don't mind that, it keeps the storytelling compelling and raises the stakes.
