I feel like they invested so much money into the DC cinematic universe and have already filmed and cast upcoming films WB will refuse to admit that they need to make changes with what they've done to DCU. At least, not huge changes.

Also, given that there are a lot of people making comparisons between MCU and DCU in films, and Marvel's been given so much praise, any knocks on DC is a blow to them. I think they're afraid to acknowledge any criticism as well, because that's admitting that they're not as good as Marvel.

I don't know. On the one hand, I feel bad for DC because it seems like they're stuck between a rock and a hard place. But on the other hand, the WB/DC movie execs seem to have no grasp on reality and have their heads so far shoved up their own asses.
