Yeeah same on both accounts.

I hate how female virginity is so fetishized in a lot of parts of the mainstream romance industry, but damn if I don't like first time sex in fic. Maybe it's because fic tends to look at virginity as just another fact about the character instead of thinking you're a dirty, unsexy slut if you have sex with someones besides the main love interest.

He reminds me of every "involuntary celibate" angry guy ever.

I don't get those vibes from him at all. Virgin, yes? But not in an INCEL or MRA way. More in a "has been groomed by a wannabe sith lord since childhood, so he never made any real human connections before his Fall, and don't really focus on matters of the flesh now that he's a Knight of Ren."

I think a lot of people read that "I can take anything I want' line as MRA posturing instead of, yaknow, SINCERE SPACE FASCISM VALUES. Not that they aren't both toxic and predatory lines of thought, but yeah, it's a different thing he's trying to live up to imo.

He does have a very Eliot Rodgers / MRA / 'Why won't females breed with me' kinda vibe, doesn't he?

Kylofags are pure cancer.

I love slashing Kylo with either Hux or Poe but agree that, in terms of canon, he's probably a virgin. He's severely messed up and dangerous and straight out murderous, sure, but I don't see any evidence in canon that his potential virginity has anything to do with it. I just don't see the misogynist MRA vibe, in canon that people seem to keep labelling him with. Sure, he mind-raped Rey but he also had no qualms in mind-raping Poe, as well. If anything, I felt he was a little more "nicer" with Rey than with Poe. (Removing the helmet, saying she should be 'relieved' that he doesn't know what's happened to her friends etc). Also, he has no interaction with Phasma or any other women in the First Order that indicate he hates women. He seems to simply treat them as he does the men- as soldiers working for the Order.
