I just did a foot peel and I'm way too excited to see all the dead skin sloughing off in a few days. So disgusting. So satisfying.

Ooh, which brand did you use?

The TonyMoly Changing U Magic Foot Peeling Shoes. They don't have the best reviews I've seen, but they looked mostly favorable and I only needed to spend $3 to get free shipping, so I went cheap. I hope these work@

nayrt, but can you post in a few days and tell us how it went? I am intrigued by the idea, and curious to know how well it works.

I love those things! Babyfoot is my very favorite one.

How effective are these? I have a gross amount of dead skin/callus on my heels that builds up no matter what I do. :(

I've never done one before, but I've seen a lot of before/during/after picture sets for several brands. I'd think them worth a try.

Thanks! I guess I was worried about how it'd react to my sensitive skin but I'm curious.

I've done a couple of them. Babyfoot is my favorite (I'm the anon above). They work well, follow the directions though: soak your feet in warm water for a half hour first and wear the booties for two hours (I use the time to watch a movie), wear socks over the booties so you can walk if you need to. It's best to do this in the winter because your feet will be gross and peely three to five days afterwards, for at least a full week, up to three weeks, and LOTS of dead skin comes off so you'll want your feet in socks and shoes unless you want people asking if you have some kind of skin condition (it's noticeable, even at a glance). It's worth it though, gets rid of the calluses and corns and your feet will be very soft when it's all done. However, those calluses do protect your feet somewhat from things like hot pavement and sharp stones, so your feet will be sensitive afterwards. Not painful, but you will be aware of things like how cold the bathroom floor is in the morning, things like that. Doing things like socks and thick lotion before bed really helps keep your feet softer longer.
