What does "research dissemination" mean?

All the results I'm getting have a bad case of vague academia wording so I can't figure it out on my own. And dissemination's definition on its doesn't seem like it fits completely.

Sounds like a term for spreading information that resulted from research to other people. Like, "I'm writing an article for that journal to disseminate my research."

This is a pretty straightforward definition

Not a dude, but that may have had that happen to me recently. Saw a cute girl working at comic shop that's normally a sausage fest and she was really tall (stuck out to me because I'm fairly tall for a girl) and the thought crossed my mind that she might be trans. Obviously couldn't confirm because that'd be fucking rude, but I still thought she was cute.

Not a guy either, and not into bio dick, but I've seen some hella cute dykey trans women around and I don't think I'd let pre-op penis be an issue to us getting it on if I felt the crush.
