NAYRT I see your point but I too wondered why someone who not only didn't like Austen but didn't like the genre as a whole would bother to weigh in. I don't see the point of bird watching and it sounds very boring to me, but you'd never see me posting to a thread about bird watching saying that! I'm sure bird watchers are well aware that not everyone loves their hobby, so I wouldn't really be bringing anything to the discussion.
