The great apes get more interesting when you're looking at the bonobo family and Mommy and Daddy Bonobo decide do have a quickie two feet from the glass while a human family with young children are standing there staring at them.

It was awkward, but pretty funny.

The word "zoo" is short for "zoological park." Zoological comes from zoology.

... it's really not. I've been on the receiving end of mansplaining often enough to know the difference between mansplaining and simply assuming that a lot of people never wondered where the word "zoo" came from.
