I agree with you. anonOP needed to go over the top more, because what they did was reflect the level of emphasis in the secret which sounded like they agreed in kind.

It's not your sarcasm meter that's broken, it's anonOP's gauge of context.

To be fair, anything can squick a person out.

I absolutely cannot watch human-like robots be destroyed (A.I., Animatrix, Short Circuit 2. I refuse to watch Chappie.). It makes me physically ill. I can't do it.

I have a few friends who won't eat things if the mascot is anthropomorphized food. Not Charlie Tuna or something, but things that were never alive, like breakfast cereal or doughnuts or something. They just find it super creepy and unappetizing.
