Now I have lots of extra food dye and am scheming to make my sister in law some Hulk cookies...

You're such a sweet friend! I'd definitely recommend checking out Michaels around Christmas time, or right after Christmas. I have so many cookie cutters it's ridiculous because I always find cheap ones.

If you think you're going to bake a lot, keep looking and you can find some deals.

(I forgot I have Portal cookie cutters too)

I love making things from scratch (tho I'm not great at it) but I never have/find the time, lol

I found the easiest thing for me was to split the project in to two nights. I usually couldn't make myself make the dough, roll out the dough and bake it in one night after work so I'll make the dough and let it sit in the fridge overnight and then bake them the next night.

I love experimenting with recipes once I've gotten the hang of the original. My two favorites are jack and coke brownies and then mint chocolate chip cookies.
