Hadn't heard of this until now so I'm not sure how it's been presented in media so far. But after seeing the trailer, I have trouble believing it's interesting even as a topic for one of those "not just for kids anymore!" articles, other than having more well-known names behind it. And in this case, while that means a more wide release than most adult animation fare, I kind of suspect it'll be thought of more as "another Seth Rogen and co. genre spoof" as opposed to "mainstream adult animation".

I do think animation has a bit less of a hurdle than it used to when it comes to "proving" it can be adult-oriented fare, though, and probably the least of one when it's primarily in service of adult-oriented humor, at least in the US (heck, South Park's movie came out 16 years ago).
