For me being dead means we don't exist anymore. To me that's the biggest freedom I can imagine, so it's not something I'm afraid of. I'm quite curious about death, actually, because I don't know what it's like.

Sickness on the other hand terrifies me, which is why I try to live as healthily as possible. It might be futile anyway, but trying to take care of myself the best I can gives me comfort, and creates an illusion like I have any control over my life.
