Re: What ruined a celebrity forever for you?

Any celebrity that goes full-tilt bat guano with politics in either direction (i.e. like Sean Penn and Adam Baldwin). They're entitled to their opinions, yes, but when it's pretty much all they ever talk about outside of work-related stuff... blegh.

Ones who treat their fans like complete shit for no reason. I get that there's rotten apples in every barrel and whatnot, but I don't like being made to feel like garbage just because I like them and admire their work to some extent. Thankfully, the ones I follow on social media (Michael Rooker, Sean Gunn, Doug Jones, Patricia Heaton, and Kari Walhgren) are all really kind towards their fans and are saints when putting up with spaghetti being dropped from time to time.

I remember some remarks Jason David Frank (Tommy from Power Rangers) made after one of the Red Rangers was arrested for an alleged murder (that was claimed to have been done in self-defense) a couple years back. I don't remember 100% exactly what he said, but it was roughly along the lines of "Come on, man, you're making MMPR look bad". My jaw dropped when I read that. Never mind the fact he's a tryhard who milks his only major source of fame, that was just an incredibly tasteless, selfish, and callous thing to say given the circumstances. And I used to like Tommy, man. :/
