I hate book fairs. I hate running them (two at two different schools at the same time), I hate setting them up, I hate having to phone people to volunteer at them, I despise the Evil Empire (aka the only company that does book fairs). I can't refuse to do it because it's in my goddamn job description. I can't wait for April 15th cus then the worst of it will be over.

My book fair is next week, so I feel you. Although, I don't generally have that bad a time with them. Good luck getting through yours!

When I was a kid, I lived for that glorious week when the school library was transformed into the book fair. I spent a good chunk of time reading the sales flyer with all the books in it, circling what sounded interesting, and calculating what books I could get with what I had saved up from my allowance and birthday money.
I can see how doing them is a pain in the ass though.
