Writing is a learned skill much more than it is some innate talent, like almost any other art. You can still try. I know it's going to feel rough and discouraging, but the door's not closed.

fwiw, though, readers are just as important to fandom. You're who we're trying to write for, even if we don't quite hit the mark.
