I agree so much with so many people today. Wow.

4) DDDDDD:

I find the course of their friendship (not buttsex--friendship) the most fascinating and heartbreaking aspect of the series by far. I think that they shouldn't get a happy ending, but then again, I think that they've both pretty much been dead since they were 10. In other words, IAWTC x1000.

41) Obviously, everyone else was reading a manga where Matt was actually noticeable. I completely passed over the guy while reading, quite personally.

46) IAWTC x a million. Why is fandom so damn centered on shipping? Can't people be friends? Isn't friendship interesting? Shounen series--friendship is a HUUUUUGE theme. WHY DOES EVERYONE JUST OVERLOOK IT IN FIC? D:<

67) More infinite agreement. Suspension of disbelief is one thing, but wow. Also, Shinn is dumb. Everything in GSD is dumb. If you watched it for anything except for explosions and omglazerz, I pity you and your hours of time wasted. (Seriously, are there supposed to be 60 million on the PLANTs?)

Also, the imbalance present in GS bothers me. This is what I have learned:

Normal earthlings = utter fail and crazy.

Treason is okay in ZAFT!

Pop stars can steal secret military machinery.

It's not about your convictions--if you have super genes, you'll be successful in everything you do!

I don't think they should have a "happily ever after". I think they're irrevocably damaged and have forcibly thrust themselves outside of normal society. This isn't to say that I think either or both of them are doomed to death, but I don't think either of them will ever really achieve peace.

Come on--one is a terrorist who is fighting his own country and has (so far) personally killed off two of his own siblings (who loved him, no less), and the other is so vastly confused about his place in the world that leads him to kill his own people and fight the independence movement of his mother nation (that he loves). Add fighting your best friend on top of that, and I don't think that there's any way they can escape largely unscathed. At the least, I don't think the Britannian and Japanese citizenries will allow that. I think it will make a more powerful ending that way.

Anyways, I'm less certain of their physical well being by the end, but I still really hope that their friendship (above all) can be healed to a large extent by that time. Suzaku/Lelouch BFF! <3
