Genuinely curious, do you feel like you didn't get to play with your preferred toys when you were a child? I ask because my parents let me play with whatever I wanted, and I don't remember ever feeling like toys were being "pushed" at me.

OP.

I understand that you're being sarcastic but I wish you didn't have to insult princesses in the process. I love the princesses, but the franchise is a bit unbalanced. More princes in addition to princesses.

The Princesses are awesome. It's just Marketing tends to reduce them to glitter and frills, because "that's what little girls like, right?" Never mind the awesomeness of the character herself. Look at what they did with Merida for instance.
