I tried chilipowder paste spread on some of the paving they have to cross, but it only lasts for so long. Plus we are in an open plan housing estate. So no fences or walls unless you go through council planning permission committee and they almost never give planning permission unless there is a health and safety reason. Plus some of the local councillors are cat owners and no doubt apporve of their little crapping machines crapping somewhere they don't have to clean it up.
