That honestly sounds amazing. Do you wake up feeling refreshed after these dreams?

After the miniature ones I often wake up feeling kind of disoriented...and unfortunately my sleep schedule is so erratic I tend not to be really able to tell when my sleep was refreshing but cut short and when it just wasn't refreshing.

But I definitely enjoy the dreams a lot! I find that writing down a couple sentences describing the dream after I wake up, if I enjoyed the dream, will cause me to dream about that sort of thing more often (or at least remember them more often) so maybe I just forget my less pleasant dreams a lot more quickly than the pleasant ones.

Wow interesting. I'm going to try your method of writing dreams down and see if it affects my dreams too! Do you have any idea why you have these dreams? I hope it's okay to ask, this is just really interesting to me as most people I've talked to dream about running or something they're obsessed with or just something really random. I've never heard of having dreams about being mouse-sized in a positive light.

If I could guess I'd say it has something to do with the fact that I kind of like the idea of spying on people? Like, I had a big obsession with the idea of being invisible, and about stories from the POV of small animals, like mice who lived in people's houses secretly - Beverly Cleary's Ralph and the Motorcycle, or The Great Mouse Gang series by jean Van Leeuwen. And there was a kid's book called The Littles And Their Friends about a secret species of tiny people who lived inside people's houses or other human facilities and used tiny household objects and trash to make their tools and furniture, that I LOVED. So I figure it has something to do with that kind of thing.

SA

Also I have spent a lot of time in the sorts of locations I usually am miniature in (stores, theaters, restaurants, public transportation) so maybe at some point I start to want to see the places I know from a different perspective or something like that, I don't really know much about how dreams actually work...
