I loved that the dudebro jock character got subverted in the first movie, he goes back to HS thinking he knows how to be cool, bullies someone, then the whole grade turns against him for being an asshole and it's not cool to pick on people now wtf are you doing also we're all going green and dumb 90s football captain alpha male asshole behavior is no longer admired and half the movie is him being like "EVERYTHING IS DIFFERENT AND WEIRD NOW?? HELP HOW DO I NOT BE AN ASSHOLE??"
Then the other guy who WAS a kid that got bullied ends up being "cool" and it goes to his head...
It's really a good movie/kind of surprisingly good social commentary, comedy aside.
