While I know misunderstandings can happen here, if you're regularly getting those responses to your secrets it's highly likely that you're not expressing yourself as clearly as you think you are. My guess is the nitpicking happens because your secrets contain inaccuracies or the construction lacks logic, and the people who are "willfully dim" may not get what point you're trying to make. Not because they're doing it to spite you (though that's an interestingly paranoid idea!) but because you're overestimating how coherent your writing is.
