it's the slap fight between bottom!Sam purists and bottom!Dean purists

That's always been annoying but at the same time I find it kind of comforting because as much as things have changed in the fandom over the past decade, there always has and probably always will be people pointlessly bitch-fighting with each other about which brother should get pounded in the ass. The consistency is nice.

Plus, some people take it super fucking seriously which is always hilarious (the only other fandom that I've been in that gets this worked up about topping/bottoming preferences is Sherlock but even then I didn't see it as often).

I get having preferences, I've got them too, but people just get so BUTTHURT (sorry couldn't resist) about people having conflicting preferences.
