I'm the opposite. Jessica Jones is the better to me. I like Daredevil okay, but I feel like Jessica Jones is a nearly perfect show.

That being said, I agree with you that I hate the mentality that people should watch things just for representation even if they don't enjoy it. And telling victims they have to watch anything is shitty.

I can absolutely see why people would enjoy Jessica more - I just love love love the fight scenes and the whole sort of visceral physicality of in on Daredevil (but some people dislike those specifically).

That being said, I enjoyed JJ and I was grad it was made, but yeah, I do not watch tings just for representation.

For me it was the characters on JJ that did it. Having such an anti-hero be a woman was great. And I loved all the other characters too. Plus I enjoyed the noir feel (which is weird because I don't even usually like noir).

I don't even know why because Daredevil is more the kind of thing I'd usually like. JJ just clicked for me.
