That's how I interpreted the first sentences. OP thinks it's shitty that readers don't like their stuff just because they're doing fandom the way that works for them.

It feels natural to extrapolate when the content of the secret is basically "I am so annoyed by people sharing negative experiences I don't share. They are huge losers.". Maybe a failure of imagination on my part.

I guess we read it very differnently. OP was complaining about the trend of people complaining about WIPs, and even if you choose to interpret this secret as a response to that one specific secret from last week, there is nothing in that secre that says "I don't want to read WIPs". being shitty hat authors dare to abandon their fics is a far cry from not choosing to read them in the first place.

Holy fucking shit. Why are you this unable to have basic reading comprehension? I know you've all but explained in other comments that you're SUPER in bed with this secret OP and totally agree with them but come the fuck on.

The secret from last week WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY to explain that they don't feel anyone owes them shit. They're not blaming authors for their anxiety. They're not asking authors to cater to them. Literally ALL THEY DID was say that WIPs give them some anxiety. HOW DARE THEY!

What the fuck is with all of you? Entitled much? You think readers are being entitled? How about basically dragging a secret OP under the bus for simply daring to admit on a secret what a lot of us in fandom feel sometimes? The only way that secret OP from last week could have been more clear about not blaming authors for their own anxiety is if they fucking baked each WIP author cookies personally. Like what the fuck?

The only one who is fixated on the one secret from last week here is you, anon. Not me, and not OP.

Anon, considering pretty much everyone else read it the same way as diet_poison I'd say it's YOU who fail at reading comprehension.
