Ash since my real name is Ashley (though Ashley is sometimes a boy's name).

I really like Ashley as a name for either gender.

That's my sister's name :D. Of course, she was named that right around the same time tons of other little girls got that same name (this was back in the late '80s, I don't know how popular that name is now), so it got a bit confusing when she was in a class with multiple Ashleys :p.

But it is a nice name, I agree.

I just wish my names wasn't so popular. My roommate had the same First and Middle Name and Last Name initial as me. :/

And I wish I had a name that was more popular. My name is Ruth, which is a name that is mostly only that of older people now. Very few people my age have it. Plus it is short and boring and just sounds old fashioned.
