to start crocheting Christmas gift blankets? Too early? Or should I have already started? IDK how long this takes... I have 3 to make.

I'd say start now. It's better to be done ahead of time.

Depends on the size and how fast you work...if full-size blankets for adults, then this is a very good time to start. If they're baby blankets and/or you work really fast/have a lot of free time, you could probably put it off. But as others have said, no reason *not* to start early!

I'm not sure how anyone could possibly give you an accurate answer when we don't know how fast you crochet, how big the blankets are, how complicated the pattern, or any number of other factors. If you don't know, how could we?

I think it's a good time, it gives you a fairly long period to work on them.

I'd say it would depend on the pattern you're going to use and how big they are. I got a 1.5m square blanket done in 3-4 weeks once but I had to dedicate at least 3-4 hours every day to get that done.

Getting them done early will always be better than running out of time to get them done at all.
