I can agree on points 1-3 (my Doctor is Jon Pertwee) but before experiencing 4 I just quit watching. I'll be back when Moffat leaves to see what happens.

I've stopped watching too, and that's part of why I have such strong feelings on the subject. :/ I couldn't enjoy the show anymore; I feel like he stole it from me and the other fans of the previous show, who thought we would never stop loving it. I feel like he's made a mockery of everything that Dr. Who has been to so many people. The show helped me a lot through a tough part of my life, so to see it so debased, to my POV, is extremely painful. I don't watch it anymore.

What a melodramatic backstory. It's just a TV show, for god's sake, and not even a good one.

NAYRT but everyone in Doctor Who fandom is at least a little bit crazy (self included). I genuinely don't think you can be a Doctor Who fan in a non-casual sense and not be a little crazy about it in some way.

I've been in this fandom for close to twenty years. We're all mad here.

I was pretty depressed when the new who started and it helped me a lot, actually. I don't really care if you find it too dramatic; I have strong feeling about lots of things, including dr. who. :P

Yeah right. Aren't you precious.

You sound like you need a long nap, you poor maligned baby.

Friendly reminder that new showrunner is the guy in charge of Torchwood.

So everyone will die? ;)

Only if RTD has a look in. (He's the one who decided the cast needed to be downsized to nothing.)
