Idk that seems like...a pretty reasonable thing to do? and doesn't mean you're feeling or acting superior? it can be frustrating to have someone totally miss the point of what you're writing

and in general, there are many reasons other than ego-stroking to give a more in-depth response to a review. it's okay to like talking about the things you're writing.
