(frozen comment) For those who don't like the term trap

what do you propose as alternative

(taking trap to mean 2D "boy who looks like a girl" which doesn't necessarily involve crossdressing and by definition does not mean dmaf trans)

There's no alternative, there's otokonoko but I'm not going to use a Japanese word when we have an English one.

SJW need to grow a thicker skin and stop throwing a tantrum.

Aren't otokonoko just male crossdressers or is there some context I'm missing?

You're right, ayrt is wrong, they are crossdressers, not traps.

Sorry but I really doubt any of us are going to stop caring about treating people decently.

Fictional characters aren't people.

If you're really going to talk like there's some kind of iron-clad wall between the way that we talk about fictional characters and real people, or the language we use to do it...

nah, anime fandom (or at least the 4chan part of it) is pretty adamant about 2D from 3DPG

and there's not really many irl people who would fit the 2D definition of trap and most of the dudes who do use the term to describe themselves

the ones you're harassing for using the word trap are not included, are they?

I'm willing to bet I was getting death threats when you were in diapers. Now, oh boo, hoo, hoo. You threw out an anti-trans fighting word and are crying that at least one faggy person called you on it.

And gee, a quick right-click on that otokonoko and a synonym immediately appears, "In contemporary Japanese culture, otokonoko (男の娘 Otoko no ko, "male daughter"), or otoko no musume, refers to men who cross-dress as women." So oh gee, why not queen, femme, cross-dresser, demiboy, boi, non-conforming, androgyne, androgynous, or gender-ambiguous? Or any other word that does not involve the stereotype that trans people are sexually deceptive predators for the lols?

For the record, I'm not that anon and haven't engaged with you at all in this thread until this post.

But you still think that anyone who objects to the term "trap" is a thin-skinned baby, though, right?
