If Patrick Stewart was Eleven, I would be caught in an amazing land of awesome and wanting to make his head so shiny it would blind all alien opponents.

Yeah. I'd love to see someone in their 50s or 60s, different actor ethnicity would be neat too. Just something that isn't... young pretty thing. I liked it with Five, but Five 'felt' older to me. Nine and Ten just... sort of don't hit 'older' for me, either in appearance or how they act. (Though Nine had moments, and I do like him a lot.)

Really? The only really "young" Doctors for me are Tennant and Davidson, and to a certain extent Tom Baker, though it could be argued that Four is just still working off Three's sugar high (did you see him dump like, an entire bag of sugar into his tea in Invasion of the Dinosaurs? Jeebus. No wonder Four's insane).
I've also heard people arguing for Alan Rickman for Eleven, and while he's definitely fangirl-bait, he's not young by any stretch of the imagination and he's not really pretty either.
Also, icon love. That's one of my favorite serials.

I haven't seen Invasion of the Dinosaurs yet (I missed it on my first run through, but I've spent the past month going through One, Two, and Three's eps so I'm almost there), but anyway! With Eccelston, despite being in his early 40s, he comes off as younger and 'prettier' to me. I love Nine to bits, but I seem to have a very odd perception on what is young (ie, if its under 40, its 'too young' for me usually).

Alan Rickman might be good, but in that case you might end up with viewers perceiving him more as Snape from the Harry Potter movies instead of the Doctor on first sight, which depending on how it goes could either be detrimental to the role or quite helpful. Then again, that happens with just about everything.
