Who is this?

(Anonymous) 2016-04-07 12:04 am (UTC)(link)
Lin Manuel Miranda (of Hamilton fame) and Jonathon Groff (also in Hamilton but is also a general Broadway star)

mmm I'm not anti all rps but the fact that fanfic of this exists makes me feel kinda weird

Meh, Grofflin is normal compared to some of the Lin/Leslie Odom Jr (he plays Burr) stuff on AO3. There's a long, potty fic out there about them being possessed by the ghosts of Hamilton and Burr and then the ghosts bone.

That's so ridiculous its almost less weird imo.

Idk though. Lin just isn't someone I wanna see fic of

My assumption is always that people who make a big deal out of five-year age gaps are high school or College kids. Five years is a really big deal in that age bracket, and you do a lot of growing and changing while you're in some kind of school system. It's a big deal to be in high school OR College. And in hindsight, it seems like it's an even bigger deal to be in College OR work.

The next big change is when you have kids and stop partying, but there is no set age for that, and suddenly age gaps of five years seem pretty forgettable.
