Of course shipping slash isn't inherently misogynistic. But continually ignoring women, hating on them for standards that don't they don't apply to men, and devaluing them is.

I get that you're a straight woman and for you that may mean you ship what you're attracted to, but for one fans can do that without mistreating and ignoring the significance of women in the narrative, and for two, a lot of people in fandom AREN'T straight women and are plenty attracted to girls in real life but still do this. That these things occur so often in fandom, both slash or otherwise, is a sign that there's a lot of misogyny, both internalized and otherwise. So yeah, you can definitely be a slasher without being misogynistic. But there's a lot of it out there.

I never said anything about shipping het. There's other options but het and slash? There's gen, femslash, slash fics that have women in prominent roles even though they're not part of the focus relationships? 'Not ignoring or undervaluing women' in no way shape or form implies 'YOU HAVE TO SHIP HET'.
