A lot of people only consider themselves shippers if they're interested enough in a ship to seriously discuss it and produce and/or seek out fic and meta for it.

So they can see nine dozen other pairings, and will enjoy fic and meta if they come across it, and might seed those pairings in as background for their own fic, but they only really ship one or two things by their definition.

By someone else's definition, they might ship half the cast together.
