DA. Omigosh, if you don't mind, can you expand a bit on the differences in gameplay? I hated the gameplay in Episode Duscae so I've been not really keeping up with the FFXV news, but if it has changed...

It's been a little while since I last tried out Episode Duscae, so I might remember some things wrong, but one change they have made is that the attack and defend buttons have changed to Circle and Square respectively. This is one change I'm not that sure I like at as I liked defending with R1, but that's something you get used to. I think they have also changed that the way you hold your directional pad changes the way you attack. They have made changing weapons for Noctis mid-combat a lot quicker and more fluid, so it makes it more fun imo and you probably have to think more about what weapons/attack styles to use with what enemies, but the demo didn't offer that much in this regard. It's still a bit Kingdom Heartsy/action RPGy if that's something you didn't like, so they haven't made any major changes in that way. You can now jump though, and according to a person on Reddit who encountered a bug you can swim too, so that's new. I personally like most of the changes I've noticed, but I liked the feel of Duscae better, which I think represents the bulk of the story more. Like I mentioned the new demo is more tech than anything else, and the story there doesn't matter in the actual game, besides unlocking one non-essential thing at the end :)

If you have a PS4 or Xbox One I would suggest you try it out for yourself really. The new demo is free and available for everyone unlike Duscae :) Probably takes between 30-60 minutes depending on how much you want to pick up along the way.
