It's called Yuri because that's the name of the MC you stupid fuck.

It's also a play, because the two MCs are both named Yuri--the Japanese MC is Yuuri (sometimes romanized Yuri), and then his Russian rival, also named Yuri.

It's a play on words, jfc.
