It definitely seems very series and beautiful, and the choreographer has choreographed for Olympic and Grand Prix skaters. It's going to be so lovely.

There's only a trailer so far, but nothing in the trailer whatsoever seems to suggest it will be making fun of the men for doing a 'traditionally' female sport.

This is perhaps in contrast to "Cheer! Danshi" which is another upcoming anime exploring two guys who join the cheerleading team at their college, though that also outright addresses the issue, where one character says, "Wait, isn't this usually something girls do?" and they are quickly corrected that it's commonly a co-ed sport too (and then they go on to make their own all-boys team).
