Eh, I saw some of their videos and they seem to have a good sense of humor in them but I don't really understand the obsession either. That goes for a lot of youtubers though.

I really hate the rabid shippers these two have since I recall one of them saying it made them uncomfortable around each other since some of their fans were theorizing they are together when they are really just friends.

Well, I watch Dan and Phil because they're silly nerdy guys with similar outlooks on things. They just feel like they could be your friends maybe? But even as a fan of them, I still don't get the shipping.

The only ship I ship is Dan/Malteasers. It's canon.

I just recently started watching them. I find them both funny and adorable, but I have avoided any contact with their fandom because it looked like it was mostly young kids writing shippy fic about them.
Any people who like each other must be having sex? Stupid.

I think so too, but I don't really 'ship' them. Like I think their dynamic's cute when they do collab videos but I have no interest in reading fic of them or anything. And I actually do ship another youtube pairing (but it's two straight gamer guys). I'm not usually a tinhatter.

But Dan/Phil just have this vibe and sometimes I get super curious and google shit. The valentine's video just left me more perplexed if anything, but someone theorised that they probably dated early on then broke up and stayed friends - which makes more sense I think.
