Eh, people using POC = black is their own fault. Like sometimes you need to just say 'black people' or 'East Asian people'.

Uh...people who equate POC with black. Anon LITERALLY says who they're talking about. Maybe pay more attention to what you're reading and less time inventing ways to call people out.

I'm Black and I despise POC as an acronym. People/Person of Color is fine written out but I prefer to right out say MINORITY. Also note that I say Black and not African-Whatever because, while I'm proud to have African roots, I've never been to Africa and neither have any of my family members for many years. We're Americans and we're Black and we kick a lot of ass.

East asian people are ONLY PoC in a fucking white environment. you can'r go to japan and say "oooh, look at all the PoC!!" PoC is a term that is used because of a shared experience of discrimination of people who are not white. there is no racial discrimination of ethnically japanese people in japan ffs.
