Were her family really All That? I dont' really watch old movies, but when I do, sometimes they're pretty cringey too. She's done good stuff, but not everything she's ever done is cinema gold. I'd bet it goes for her family, too. I mean, a working actor works, doesn't wait till they're in the Greatest of Great Art~!

How about you read a fucking book or use Google before you ask if her family were All That? Your opinion is your opinion, but the minimum amount of research should provide information on their reputation. I'm not even saying those people (mostly in the past) were right, but they had a famous name for a reason. Reputation can mean a lot.

Also, I don't know what old movies you think are so 'cringey.' If you don't like them, that's fine, but it sounds like you don't even know enough about film to judge the acting ability on display in old films.
