Yeah, but I don't think it's really a problem?

I mean we shouldn't be jerks just because, I'm not advocating that. But so much of a lot of fandoms are so fucking misogynist that I'm really not going to tear my hair out over this stuff.

Frankly MRA-Anon makes it way worse. It's a problem when the person attacking Radfem-like anons is... a fucking cartoon themselves.

Did you seriously just blame the hostility to men here on an MRA anon?

Nah, but they often whip it up into a frenzy intentionally. The hostile people are real easy to troll.

See, I don't think MRA anon is at all sincere.

Do you think maybe the difficulty in judging sincerity is a bit telling of how carried away gender warriors get on both sides?

And here they are with the leading questions

Please, warn me about the "gender warriors." I hear they have a shot at the NBA finals this year

.... I don't know what else to call people who are constantly talking about gender-related issues. Like radfems and MRAs.

But

They're probably the same person

And they're definitely trolling

So

I am so glad I don't share this mindset.

"it's okay to be a dick to groups of people because in other settings they are dicks to me"

Did you see where I said not to be jerks?

I'm just saying the small amount of hostility on this sub compared to everyfuckingwhereelse being openly hostile (have you seen the backlash to trans characters in RPGs and a fucking female protagonist in Rogue One?) it's seriously low priority for me.

Progressivism in a nutshell.

No it isn't.

I mean I think that empathy and caring are like always good things but, yes, i agree that it's a very minor problem all things considered not something to tear our hair out about
