29: Maybe Jesus would preach a parable about the evils of bad fic.

36: I'm reminded of the debates within the Silent Hill fandom over the English version and the Japanese versions of the script.

72: Furthermore I am reminded of one of those extremist fundies going into a heavy metal concert and screaming about how evil metal is, and it needs to be destroyed. No one listens because they're too busy head banging to the music.

I'm curious now -- what did those debates involve, exactly? I mean, I assume it was something like "the English script changed stuff and is inferior!" because that's what it always is, but.

Actually you're correct. One of the best examples I can think regarding the translation differences, is of is the debate over whether or not Mary stayed in Brookehaven hospital.
