Because it means that the person is a fucking loser who can't fend for themselves.

Errr....since when does being a virgin mean being a loser, and since when does not being able to drive a car mean not being able to fend for oneself? I know plenty of people who can't drive and can fend for themselves perfectly well.

Was a virgin in high school and college. I have less regrets and bitter memories and relationship drama than my classmates.

If that makes me a "loser" I'm cool with that. It does pay to wait sometimes.

Depends on the person, but yeah definitely better to wait than push yourself into situations you can't handle properly.

(Also, in most metropolitan cities, driving is a complete and utter waste of time, energy, and money even for adults let alone teenagers, and learning how to drive is pretty useless as well unless you're planning on moving to a suburban area soon.)

OH, so paying all my own bills on time and supporting myself enough to have expensive hobbies, eat what I want, but not have to pay off a car or insurance or worry about dating means I'm a loser? At 34?

Well I hope you never have my miserable life. :)
