That superhero movie fatigue is a thing or that audiences are currently experiencing it.

Maybe some people are getting fatigued, and those people, myself among them, were just never terribly interested. I wouldn't call for a end to the genre just because I don't like most of them.

I'm fatigued too. I was really excited about them at first, and saw all the early ones in theaters, but by now I wish there was something else. I don't mind there being superhero movies, but I wish there were more current geeky movies that I could get into.

That's why I'm quite excited for the video game adaptations, even Angry Birds. With four (five?) in a year, one has got to be good.

Ha! I can't muster interest in Angry Birds - the trailer looked pretty terrible to me. But I kind of hope that either WoW or AC will be at least decent.
It's weird how few good movies/shows are based on games. It's like people manage to consistently fail at doing it well. Even "decent", forget "good".
Off the top of my head, the only video game adaptation that I've seen that was actually GOOD was Sengoku Basara.

I'm really hoping AC is going to be good.

I wouldn't say everyone is, but I think some people are. I know a friend and I were very into superhero movies. We saw pretty much all of them for a long time. However, my friend has pretty much stopped watching them and has cut down on a lot of her comics, and I've also really been tired of them of late. I didn't see Ant Man, AoU, or the latest X-Men, and I have no interest in seeing Batman v. Superman or Doctor Strange. I'm definitely fatigued of seeing a lot of the same general characters over and over. I'm not saying the genre should end or anything, but I'm very burnt out and don't really care much anymore.
