His outfit looks hot. And by that, I don't mean in an attractive sense, I mean jesus a t-shirt plus a button down short plus a hoodie plus a blazer? I'd be boiling in my own sweat.

came here to say this holy shit

peel off a layer there, Peter

Maybe it's cold where he lives? Also, very skinny people tend to always feel cold.

uh... no that's not true

Depends on the weather. I wear four layers when it is cold you so I can add or remove as necessary. Also, spider powers may help out.

Same.

That's a lotsa layers.

Little did you know, he's also wearing a thermal and an A-shirt under there.

He lives in New York right? It's cold there in the fall/winter. You'd need the layers.

So, a couple things:

1) We have central heating in New York.
2) People wear layers, yes, but generally not four layers, and generally not indoors because of #1.

I'll wear four layers. And I don't take them off right away when I get inside either.

Honestly the bane of my existence is that I can't wear pants in layers. I've tried long underwear but it just gets all bunched up. But maybe I just run cold.

I live in California, where it's warmer than NY.

While we have central heating, I generally wear three layers indoors because I'm always, always cold.

Four doesn't seem unreasonable.

Isn't New York north enough to get the occasional snow? I'd support four layers in that climate (and that's is probably not enough in winter - those clothes don't look really thick).

(Anonymous) 2016-04-16 01:01 am (UTC)(link)
He's from New York, though. He's used to it. There are people who live outside in NYC who don't feel the need to wear that many layers.
