Anyway, I'm half cheating. I saw this on tv in the 80's as Tranzor Z, and for the sheer weirdness of early Go Nagai, it's worth a few episodes.

I love Dragon Ball! I liked it a lot better than Dragon Ball Z tbh (that said, I'm still pretty fond of DBZ. I think a lot of it is because of my fondness for good guy!Piccolo though)

Oh my god, Robotech. Literally the first convention I ever went to was a Robotech and "Japanimation" con. I used to have notebooks full of my ridiculous fic that I had ~no one~ to share with.
