I do think quizilla had the better idea with the choose your own adventure type version.

Yeah, I really liked it when I first got into fandom when I was 11 or 12. In a lot of fics, you could end up dating different characters depending on the options you selected (kind of like a really basic version of those dating simulator games). Unfortunately, quizilla's site went through a lot of changes that eventually made using that format pretty much possible (the site wasn't really originally intended for fandom use).
