Small children should be easier to lie to. They don't know what BDSM is (or if they do, that's their parents' fault). "I was doing some very complex stretches :)" ought to work.

It's not so much the small kids themselves that are a concern, it's how likely they are to blab it to their parents, and how a person who works with kids (in say, a teaching or daycare capacity) is far more likely to come into regular contact with parents who might freak out.
