I think her severe mental illness makes it more objectionable than her gender does but even then, she's an incredibly dangerous supervillain and I thiiiiiink this panel took place after she set daredevil on fire (iirc) so...yeah, I can't really blame him for punching her. That's the risk you take when you try to burn people alive I guess

Norman Osborn hurt Jessica so Cage smashed up his limo and beat the crap out of him. He doesn't like people hurting Jessica. If Stilt Man tried it he'd get beaten up too.
