HAVE THESE PEOPLE EVER ACTUALLY WATCHED THE SHOW?!

Seriously, get off on whatever you want to get off, and if you like imagining Dean that way, whatever. But insisting that this is the correct interpretation of his character?! Nope, nope and nope. Not when all the evidence in the show points to the exact opposite. Every sex scene I remember him being in, he's been totally submissive. Not to mention his whole self-sacrificing thing that can't ever seem to stop.

This is what bothers me about most people who headcanon characters a certain way that completely deviates from canon. How the fuck do they think they're right?

Generally I assume that people's headcanons are either because they want to feel like they have someone to identify with, or because they want to get off.

Either way, as long as they don't go around yelling at people with opposing headcanons, I don't care.

If someone wants to headcanon Dean Winchester as a furry with a lion fursona who loves to yiff with sheep!Sam, I say, just tag your fic properly so I can scroll past it while I search for things that are more relevant to my interests.

I came here to write this, but thankfully someone already did. Nothing against someone's headcanon, but... Dean as dominant is so against canon that it's funny. Dean's the subbiest sub to ever sub.
